It is massively cringe. If your husband is really notably and exceptionally hot (and I hang around a lot of dads...it's unlikely!), people will notice without you saying it.
If it was true, she's probably heard it before. Teen girls absolutely joke about and with their friend(s) who have a "hot dad."
I think what some of you need to realize is these are dads likely in their 40s or 50s. Or older. You, middle age lady, might think your husband is hot. It's pretty few and far between that any normal teen girl who is well adjusted is checking out 45-50+ year old dads. If they are doing so, seriously you should be concerned.
Oy vey nobody said a teen girl is trying to sleep with her friend’s dad. But joking that a girlfriend with a notably handsome dad has a “hot dad” is hardly uncommon. Girls have eyes and a sense of humor, you know.
Totally. Me and the dads at the pool check out the teen girls at the pool and comment who is hot. It's funny.

Whenever I read posts from people who can’t find friends, I think about suggestions like these. How on earth do you people with no social skills function in the world?

For me it’s mostly my personality, if I think my man is sexy I’m going to say it a lot. My girlfriends and I also tend to talk that way, we’re always discussing who we think is hot, if we find our men hot, etc. I try not to talk that way around people I know don’t also talk that way, but sometimes I slip up.
I did this in my 20s when we were all dating. But when it's a guy someone married and we're all friends and we're going to be hanging around together on the regular going forward? Skip it. It's juvenile. I don't really want to picture all the husbands/dads sitting around talking about which of the wives is hot and who looks good in their bathing suit. So I'm going to do them the courtesy of not doing it to them either.

Things I NEVER did as a teen girl and I've never heard my teen daughter do.
That is f-ing weird.
Okay. You’re wrong. But okay.
