Exactly. Is the ICE agent married? Sitting in the park late at night “with a friend” means hanky pinky was going on. At the very least they were trespassing. Criminals love to go after victims who are up to no good because they usually don’t want to prosecute. If there had been no shooting, the agent would not have mentioned the incident. This is what happens when you do not identify yourself, do not have a warrant and wear a mask in civilian clothing. The NRA has warned US for years this was coming. This is why the country has armed itself.
Did you even read the article? The CBP officer was off duty. He was sitting in a public park when the subject attempted to rob him. This has nothing to do with ICE agents wearing street clothing while making arrests.
