It's a great place with outstanding faculty that I don't think is fully appreciated.

I don't think it's so much quirky as it is studious and nerdy. Which I don't mean in a bad way at all.

+1

This is the answer

Another plus one for St Mary’s, with the caveat that it is MUCH smaller.

There are a handful of less quirky kids at W&M that could hack it at Pitt. The D&D kids would do better at LAC’s.

What is a D&D kid

If you have to ask you wouldn’t fit in with the dominant culture at W&M

In what world is D&D the "dominant culture" at W&M - someone has gotta do something about the trolling on here

Does D&D mean Dungeons and Dragons?

NP. Yes. And I don’t doubt that a D&D (or DnD if you’re old school) kid could find his people at W&M, but also it’s not “dominant” in any way.

Agree with the Mary Washington and St. Mary's College suggestions PPs have made! A smaller college but possibly a good fit would be Goucher. And it's further away, but SUNY New Paltz?
