Mr. Terrific was my favorite! I just enjoy James Gunn movies, they’re fun and I appreciate the music choices and uses. I agree about the chemistry, especially at the beginning, I thought it warmed up a bit though by the end.

Natural beauty is a different look and is rarer. I can’t stand all these influencers and actresses who had work done and either look fake (Kylie Jenner) or generic (Brie Larson, daisy edgar jones).
I appreciate a natural look - like Emma stone for example - who isn’t the prettiest actress in the world but her look and act is uniquely her own. And then there are just naturally gorgeous people like Angelina Jolie or Margot Robbie who may have had some work done but were gorgeous to begin with and at least don’t look generic.

Bald head made him look like Bezzos but actions were more like Musk's.
Glarkos was more like Netanyahu not Trump. Jaharanpur felt more like Gaza with brown actors and obviously Jaharanpur sounds more like Mirpur, Noorpur etc which are Muslim towns.

I think Brandon Routh was actually pretty close. When I saw his movie, I thought they had purposely gone looking for someone who very closely resembled Reeve.

I saw the interviews from the director Gunn. It is another Snow White movie anti USA. Dean Cain even agreed they went woke and changed the tag line. So no thanks we will pass. It would be so nice to have some movies that I am not lectured to.
I think those movies are catering to a global crowd, so they don't want to appear like "USA is THE best", cause let's be real, it isn't anymore.
Some foreign films from the UK, for example, have Americans as the bad guys.
Or it’s just straight up anti-American. Superman was beat up and doing nothing the first 2/3s of the movie. The CGi dog was the only thing somewhat interesting, the Midwest parents are mocked and made to look like idiots, the last bit of the movie Superman finally does something- saves one girl.

The hero being beat up on and then winning in the end is actually very American, or used to be. Everyone likes the story of the underdog. Americans are obsessed with "we are the best, and can beat up anyone". That's not interesting, or a good look.
Even in the Avengers movie, they get beat up on in the beginning. That's the whole point of movies. A superhero always winning is a boring movie.
The midwest parents being mocked is a stereotype, to be sure, but doesn't MAGA stereotype all Californians as uber liberals or Hollyood types, even though the vast majority of Californians are not Hollywood types, and a significant number of them voted R?
Superman is an immigrant. You do realize that he was not born in the US, and he didn't have papers, right? So, he was a actually an illegal alien.
They took truth justice and the American way out. That is woke. Very Woke. The producer is super liberal and there is no denying that. Hollywood has to stop treating public like naughty kids. Sheesh.
We saw it and thought the movie was well done and a lot of fun. If you consider it “woke” because you relate with or sympathize with the villains it says more about you than the movie. It was very much about the making sure the truth is shared.
