By the time the wife is mid 60s, the man will be too old to skirt chase anymore anyway.

they stay looking about 15-20 years younger than the spouses so they will be looking good its their job, not that bad of a deal, i would be happy with Kris Jenner if i was in my 70s or 80s

Kris Jenner? She looks every bit her age without the special lighting, make-up, etc., she uses before you see her on camera.

However, if you can put looks aside, she can help your daughter produce and market a sex tape, just like she did for her daughter, Kim.

Oh my sweet summer OP. What happens if a woman has really great genes and looks phenomenal in her old age years? Not all women need plastic surgery or to be gym rats to maintain their appearance. It seems that you associate trophy wife with gold digger and if their plan was a man, you don’t think they have intricate military-grade backup plans?

Just because they may not have a prestigious degree and prominent job does not mean they sit around all day eating bonbons. There are some strategic, slick women out here with very well laid “plans.” (pun intended) They are not all as ditzy and helpless as you think, but that’s the thing OP, go sit down somewhere and think.

They move to Santa Fe and get a real estate license. They're alive and well and send their love.

Uhm a lot of them are trying to bag my dad, a wealthy 68 year old divorcee who lives in Naples, Florida. He was so innocent about “gold diggers” and is now fighting them off left and right.

Yep. My friend’s mother is a trophy wife. Lots of plastic surgery, etc. She has been divorced twice. Her current boyfriend is wealthy and in his 80s.

I know one very well! She was married to a public figure - sad, familiar story- he left his DW of many years (she worked to support him in early years, had several DC, his career skyrocketed, she stayed home to raise the DC) and married his affair partner- a much younger, glamorous (gold digger) and quickly had a baby with her.

DH died suddenly and left a complete mess. Original family sued the trophy wife - I think they eventually settled out of court.

Family fractured. Trophy wife faced financial ruin and is now elderly herself and relies upon her adult DC to support her. Tons of health problems and medical expenses. Took to quietly selling off last few valuables she got from DH to pay rent.

They are not trophies anymore? Just wives?
