I want to buy some local peaches and make jam.

Great idea. It’s strawberry-picking season where I am right now. I should go out to the farm this weekend.

OP here. I took a week off from work without email, and it was great. I have been behind on household stuff, like cleaning and organizing my closet, purging, vacuuming my car. I am already getting myself organized for the Fall semester. I was back at work this past week and I am realizing how burned out I am. So many emails… and reporting. I plan on slowing down and doing nothing for a few weeks later this month and August. I bought a fat bike for my birthday in April and I have been riding around for max calories. My friends have a pool, so I plan on being there poolside. I will make sure to relax.

Spending my July praying I’ll be offered early retirement next year.

So my answer is: surviving

College kid at home and rising senior should be doing more work for you! Delegate more.
