Airport security too annoying? Pay for Clear.

Mail service too unreliable? Send with UPS or FedEx.

Whenever the government fails to provide a service, or it's too difficult to use, private industry comes up with some way to ease the pain.

It shouldn't have to be this way -- government should provide a good service -- but often they don't.

Government services aren’t always better in other countries though.

Honestly, my advice is to seek mental help.

I can actually relate to your feelings in that I am stuck in a region of the U.S. that I don't like because my husband refuses to move and would never agree to me moving with the kids even if we divorced. I spent a few years feeling very resentful and regretful that I agreed to move here in the first place. Over time, I made peace with my circumstances. There are certainly worse places to live and I know I see my home state through rose colored glasses at times.

Seriously, log off of social media and go touch grass. Fantasizing about kidnapping your child to get them out of the U.S. is irrational.

This is why the world is in the state that it is. People don’t like where their country is headed so they leave. Then they don’t want to assimilate in the new country. So naturally tensions develop between immigrants and the native population.

You are a parent, OP. The child’s welfare is the highest consideration. In this situation, it is in her best interest to have both parents. In addition, the father has the same parental rights as you do. So you either convince your partner to go, you go alone or you stay. You don’t get to take the child and go. That would be selfish and probably illegal if your child’s other parent opposes it.
