Not quite sure how this took you 15 minutes. And the meets weren't canceled in 2002. Overlee went 2-3 and finished in 4th place overall (losing to FFX station, Tuckahoe and Chesterbrook). The real surprise is how Overlee stayed in Division 1 in the early 2000s.

The point is there is an OP freaking out about swim clubs for early elementary school aged students and wanting to switch pools (and good luck with that in Arlington) because of some fear of being shut out of future greatness rather than letting things happen in the perfectly good pool to which they already belong.

I would amend your sentence to “outside of Tuckahoe, Chesterbrook, or Overlee,” any of the other teams can beat each other. I think that’s why OKM winning was an accomplishment.
