Because Hamas and Hezbollah work for Iran. Both of those are weakened now so Israel has less risk from an Iranian counterattack.

Iron Dome was never 100% perfect. Israelis died every so often from Hamas rocket attacks.

With that aside, Iron Dome wasn’t built for ballistic missiles. The actual systems in use are David’s Sling and Arrow 2 and 3. No missile defense will be 100% perfect, so several have hit home.

The damage hasn’t been that bad considering how many ballistic missiles have been launched. Three people killed and dozens injured so far. Could be a lot worse.

The attack on Iran coincidentally coincides with the cutting of internet cables in Gaza. The few videos that are coming out of Gaza are incredibly horrific right now which makes it seem very intentional.

Netanyahu is not losing support. Israel is a very right wing country and Netanyahu is considered a moderate. Many of his coalition partners want stronger action in Gaza and against Iran and Turkey. This reflects the general population of Israel. The pro Israel posters here represent the moderates in Israel. That is why they feel comfortable posting their radical and racist superior views.
