There are fat people everywhere, not sure why that was so shocking to you.

Maybe, but where I am currently (second home) I have not seen anyone more than 10 lbs overweight in a week.

I can’t tell if this poster is being tongue in cheek or not.

Wearing pajamas...
No, I do not see 250 lb women wearing pajamas everywhere.

You haven’t spent much time in inner cities I see.

The last time we went to one in Florence, South Carolina, it took us 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot a total nightmare. Agree with the assessment that people were missing teeth, wearing pajamas, waiting in line for fudge, and an entire wall of beef jerky but yeah it was the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a gas station.

Democrat politicians should be required to climb down out of their ivory towers in D.C. and take a trip to Buc-ee’s.

Sigh. Oh, you sweet summer child,

You sound so incredibly basic.

No, not taking a trip to see a convenience store. If we drive by it, I will stop..

I can't imagine how aesthetically and spiritually impoverished you would have to be in order to want to make a special trip to Buc-ees.

My SIL was super-excited about WaWa coming. You can only imagine my disappointment when I actually went to one...

Bunch of parochial snobs here. I grew up on the east coast, live on the west coast, and spent many years abroad and then in Texas. After comparing the cultures of all of these places, my only takeaway is that when people dismiss things as flyover, they’ve never spent much time in the middle of the country or they have a chip on their shoulder about how nice certain aspects of flyover country can be.

Buc-ee’s is clean, has good quality hot food, is a safe place for people of any background of color to stop for a break, and is friendly, welcoming and accessible. I can’t say the same about many fancier and more beautiful parts of the mid-Atlantic, Pacific NW, Europe or New England. As a mixed family we’re never the only ones who look like us in Buc-ee’s and that makes it a very appealing place to stop.

Good food, ok prices, buy some high end jerky and roasted almonds.

Always keep 1 person in your car to avoid theft or keying of your vehicle.

Can check out fast.

-formerly TX based family

"keying of your vehicle."
Why would someone key your car in a gas station?
