It’s a “Christian” “Bible study” for kids who go to expensive private schools. It seems to be halfway sanctioned by the schools. The combination of not inviting all students and hosting summer camp in Martha’s Vineyard makes it an ideal for elitism. It’s a youth group for rich kids.
What schools are typically involved?
We know a lot of kids from the Heights who do Focus. People here clearly have an agenda about the program - I love how the thread was started by an angry mom who was disappointed that her DC had to attend a school dance with low attendance due to a Focus event - but we've heard only good things about it

Is it just a white supremecist organization to encourage white, elite intermarriage? Where do they even stand on lgbtq issues? The leaders look like crazy eyed Mormons. So the kids go to a makeout summer camp in Martha’s Vineyard? How is it possibly ok for the org to conduct events inside our already Christian school? Is our Christian school too woke Christian for some families? Also… why don’t they tell all parents about focus? It’s like a secret org that only some kids know about. They also attract girls by luring bits with donuts and footballs. Is this a cult?

Some strong anti-Mormon bigotry here. Try out "crazy eyed gays,"crazy eyed Jews," or "crazy eyed blacks" and hear how offensive that sounds?

What did duke lacrosse players do to be put in the same bucket as nazis and kkk members?

Interesting. DC is at one of those and I haven’t heard about it. DC is agnostic though, and very liberal. I wonder how popular it is? Most of those schools lean liberal.
Which of those schools lean liberal? I think it’s the opposite. The schools that lean liberal aren’t listed above.
Episcopal schools tend to lean liberal, so does Flint Hill. I’m not particularly familiar with Potomac or Madeira.
