Subject: 14th birthday dinner venue for a girl and her friends?
I’d do a nice sushi place.
However, no establishment will want more than 3-4 teens at one table. That’s obnoxious. Too many kids. Why not have a party at home or rent a private room in restaurant so you don’t bother other patrons?

It cost almost $150 for me and 2 kids there recently! Portions are huge.
What about Maggianos?
Maggianos is crazy expensive too.
They have a family style meal for smaller groups that’s really affordable and is a ton of food!
Portion sizes went way down and prices way up.

You feed your kids before going to a restaurant? No we are there to eat. If little kids get hungry before their meal comes, however, they can certainly have a packed snack. Or we can given them an applesauce to go with their purchased kids meal.
Do you also consider it a health violation if a mother feeds her infant a bottle??
A bottle is not food. Yes, I fed mine before we went out as they got cranky when hungry. These are teens you don’t bring food.

I’m the PP. we’ve also done Rio Grande and there’s ice cream/froyo within walking distance from the Bethesda location.

We did Guapo’s and they will limit the menu for a party that size. The cost will get out of hand unless money is no object…..

Maggianos is limited to Italian food. Cheesecake Factory has more variety.

I would be ok for a cap of 6 total - that's like $250-300 right there so make sure to do the math before you commit! For 14 teens I'd rent out a place - going out to dinner at any sit down is gonna be $$$$$.
+1 the place is so mediocre yet so pricey.
The newer Tysons location especially doesn't feel that special to me for this sort of birthday celebration. I miss the old location at the Galleria, that one was more ideal for a big birthday. I'm curious -- for those suggestion Cheesecake Factory, which locations do you have in mind? They vary so much.
