No he would not

He is one sided and that is not good
He loves to spew his one sided BS and claim he promotes both sides.
His support of Esther Wells tells you Jason is not “moderate” nor is his “news” .
It is extremely obvious Jason isn’t news he’s promoting propaganda. He cherry picks his so called news as well .

Everyone cherry picks news but he is pretty moderate. More than the liberal moco show guy who they have speaking IMO

No, he isn't "moderate." Highlighting Esther Wells on his YouTube channel shows he's engaged in spreading misinformation and propaganda. The overwhelming focus on Montgomery Perspective in about 94% of his posts certainly lacks neutrality. Moreover, his vocal support for Brenda Diaz during the recent Board of Education meetings was unmistakable and raised concerns about his agenda.

I'm pretty darned liberal but Esther Wells' message of fiscal prudence resonates with me. Do I agree with everything she says? No. But if people don't drop this demand for political purity from every single candidate, we are never going to see anything improve.

My child's graduation speaker, Alex Tsironis, was great. He spoke briefly, and appropriately, about people not having to follow a clear linear path to success. About how he wasn't sure what he wanted to do in life, starting out as a massage chair salesperson in the mall, to becoming a teacher, to scoring a surprise success with MoCo Snow, to moving to running MoCo Show full time. It was the perfect message for a bunch of graduates who really span a range of strengths and opportunities. I felt it was a great fit for our school.

He was on Zoom for a neighborhood meeting regarding the big mental health and substance abuse for-profit treatment center opening Nextdoor to an elementary school in the Sherwood pyramid. Said nothing. He was there to back up the electeds.

I agree that he and Glass should not have a captive audience of voters. Hopefully he won’t make it about him or his election.

Doesn’t he have kids in private school? (Or going to private HS in the fall?)

And didn't Jawando sue MCPS several years ago? I hope he talks about how great public education is in Montgomery County!

He touted his own mcps education but apparently he’s sending one of his kids to private high school to play sports (from his social media).

His child is attending his alma mater. You can read or listen to his autobiography. He shared about his experience in MCPS and St John’s.

Don't trust everything you read.

+1 lots of ignorant people hating on someone they know nothing about.

?

Nobody is hating on him. Anyone can google him.

The point is that an elected official running for higher office that funds our public school system is sending his kid to a private high school.

It’s irrelevant that the school is his alma mater. The point is that this move makes a statement.

PS - His speech at Sherwood’s graduation yesterday was lackluster (at best).

I attended Sherwood’s graduation to support my husband who works with seniors there. It was cute. Heard rave reviews about the speaker, principal’s words and board member at Magruder from several friends.

There were several speakers at the graduation I went to. One was the official commencement speaker, but it made no difference, he didn’t even speak the longest. My favorite speech was actually given BOE member Laura Stewart. She started her speech and then stopped to say she was going off script and spoke from her heart. It was lovely.

Every speech of his is a rambling mess.

LOL ok Jason. And no you would not be a good speaker and you are flattering yourself calling yourself a local news person.

Makstein would be good since he is a local news person and they have other similar people doing them.
