I got an away and it is small. It is fine for a weekend trip, but not for anything more.

I’m also in the market for a better carry on. I have a samsonite and tumi from a decade ago that still function. They are heavy and wheels not great.

I’m not sure what all the hype for the away is.

I want something light with great wheels.

Also love the B&Rs. It's amazing how much you can fit into a simple carry on that I completely forgo any check in luggage.

One thing I love about the away is the compression…panel? Rather than the straps. Helps a lot for the way I pack. It can get heavy since it can fit a lot.

I'm looking to get a new carry-on for my husband this weekend, too. Looking at TravelPro and Briggs and Riley. B&r has the ZDX one one sale right now. I like how it seems to be able to fit a lot more in it, because of how it's designed.
