This hits home hard. A few months ago I ordered delivery grocery’s and they replaced the unscented I ordered with scented and I am hearing about it still. Yes my marriage is miserable.
Those scented bags are a close #2 to those god awful plug-ins. But also, it's not about the trash bags. You could have returned them and purchased the correct one instead of expecting your wife to do so or deal with them.
I know which products my husband likes, or which makes his skin irritated or whatever. If he brought home scented trash bags, it's because he hasn't paid attention to know that those irritate my allergies. You should think about your own part in your marriage, and schedule some counseling if you think it's just a miserable wife. I can almost guarantee you it's not about the trash bags and it's some other repeated behavior in your marriage that's the problem.

If you are the pp, there’s your answer why your marriage is “miserable”.
I am not the PP. I'm a woman who can detect BS from a mile away. The PP I responded to is 100% the reason she is miserable,
Allergies to a faint smell. PUUHHHLLLEEQASSEEEEEEEE

There is nothing faint about the scent of them. They give me (and lots of people) headaches. It doesn’t really matter whether you believe that to be true or not. Partners try to be helpful and take preferences into account. I cook my husbands steak medium because he likes it medium. If I cooked it well and said “get over yourself” it wouldn’t be a good look for a partner either. A lot of small stuff in the way you treat and respect your partner is what makes up a good marriage. Again, it’s not about the trash bags. Contempt kills marriages.

Try reading, delivery service grabbed scented, even though I ordered unscented and said do not replace in the notes. Your poor husband must be preying for a fast end.
Then why do you think it still remains an issue in your marriage and you’re here complaining on a message board about it?
My marriage is great. Thanks for your concern. Amazon subscribe and save works for my *unscented* trash bags just fine.

Why do I need to deal with allergies and not just buy unscented trash bags?
It's clearly not just one person. On page 1 someone had to take a kid to the ER for a reaction.
I don't understand why you would expose yourself for something that is not needed? Take the trash out instead of trying to scent it. But you're probably a lazy man and happier to just buy the scented bags and wine that the wife is a harpy. Again, it's NOT ABOUT THE BAGS.
I don't buy scented bags but you 100% do not have an allergy to them, princess. You just like to throw that word around to get attention.
Also, he didn't say he got them on purpose to piss off his wife. He selected the correct trash bags and the shopper delivered the wrong ones. So if it really bothers you that much, march your ass to the store and get the ones that aren't going to send you to the ER. You are the one with the problem. Solve it.
This is the key. Women relish in the “I’m always right, you’re always wrong” paradigm until men completely give up. Then they call them man-children for doing nothing around the house. Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When a spouse negates the health issues of another and tells them to "get over yourself", that's not a good sign. Certainly doesn't make them a good life partner.
