This has nothing to do with anything. The kid in the article is not attending the BSMD program.

It didn't. I'd said that for 11th grade he transfered to a school that offered AP classes.
Doesn't one have to take the AP exam to be considered for college credit? Not all students take the exam after the AP course. And other students don't take course but self study for AP exam.
