For what it's worth, Prof. Timothy Snyder had moved to Canada before Trump. He writes that he would have stayed in Canada even if Harris had won. His book, On Tyranny, is a must-read.

As to when I will leave: I am watching the midterms. If they are legitimate, and Democrats retake the House, I will feel it's safe to stay and fight. I demonstrate and write--it's encouraging to see people demonstrating every weekend, if not every day, outside Tesla stores.
