More than a mimosa! If no one was sending her HMD messages, she would complain. Salty beyach…
Women hating women is so sad

People have over sensationalized this made up holiday. Let the kids treat mom today. Have you noticed how every mom friend, sister, aunt, etc. send these HMD texts? It’s gone over board. I can see how that irritated the Op.
This. So far I’ve gotten messages from coworkers and my kid’s babysitter. With the little bouquet emojis. They were on silence so they didn’t wake me up but it’s a little silly.
No wonder people here are so miserable. Even nice gestures bother them.
It’s not a “nice gesture” to take something that is objectively not about you and make it about you. Mother’s Day is about mothers and their children. End of list.

It’s a holiday for kids to celebrate their moms/grandmothers. Period.
Maybe my kids have made me a sap, but I love getting the texts. Can’t women support other women?

People can’t win. Damned if you don’t wish promptly, damned if you do!
Really, some people on Mother’s Day are looking for any excuse to get offended.
Literally have never heard anyone get mad their ex-coworker didn't text them for mothers day
