OP here. There was nothing I wrote that was bashing teachers. My original post referenced what administrators are doing, not teachers. But we also have had lots of teachers that misuse/overuse the technology. It's not bashing someone to advocate for a change in approach. I don't blame the teachers for trying to make their own jobs easier, but from the top down, it shouldn't be an option to use screens to the degree that they are. How do parents advocate for these changes if we are not honest about what is actually happening in classrooms?
