Denison is great. Kenyon is also a nice school.
I’m a bit surprised Oberlin didn’t make a leadership change since that case. But it’s still a very respected school in academia.

Continuing to hear about the bakery case from nine years ago is getting old. Gibsons had posters on their windows promoting Oberlin. If they have moved on, I think DCUM folks can as well.
All three of these schools are stellar. Dd did not apply to Wooster. Kenyon offered 30K and Oberlin offered $35k to my 32Act 4.1 from top public.

Ohio is underrated. Its SLAC’s are great and seem a little friendlier and more down-to-earth than the SLAC’s in the Northeast.

Miami of Ohio is quite a bit bigger but has decent sports. Their sports won't be mistaken for Ohio State, but definitely more than the SLACs. And it is a good school. I have also heard good things about Ohio University but don't know much - perhaps others can better opine.

Your student may want to look
at the larger universities in Ohio if a big sports culture is important. The SLACs still offer athletic opportunities for students but it’s not at the same level.

Wooster is the middle of nowhere. Ditto Kenyon but is a bit more bougie.
Oberlin is cute and a good school (ignore the ppl bringing up the court case). I’m from not far from Oberlin and it’ll the surrounding area is hella red (Cleveland is more blue but it’s. . . Cleveland).
Denison is beautiful, a good school, and close to Columbus (about 30 min away). It’s a great place. And they have great environmental and sustainability stuff going on there.

The good news is, they aren’t missing anything. These schools offer a first rate classroom experience.
