DP, and I totally get this decision. I loved the intellectual atmosphere of UChicago. I got accepted back in the day and my parents made me go to a higher ranked school and I still am kind of ticked off about that because it should have been my decision.
Haha, I get this too. I passed up UChicago 25+ years ago and I still think about it sometimes. I also passed up UChicago law too, but don't regret that choice as much.
Thrilled that DC '26 is applying.
