Trump Advisor Stephen Miller Has Always Been This Way
https://lamag.com/politics/stephen-miller-samohi-oral-history

The local newspapers did articles about Stephen, and he was flush with success—you could see the mirth in his eyes. I asked him, “Why didn’t you say that the flag incident was a teaching lesson?” He answered, “The truth doesn’t matter; it’s about what people want to hear.” I remember that very clearly.

Absolutely bananas to hear a HS student talk like this.

You do have to remember that he was in HS during the Bush II admin when Karl Rove allegedly said, "...we create our own reality." It's not as if this concept of Truth started even in the first admin here. The roots are long, long, long - even prior to Bush II.

Of course not. If he supported reasonable legal immigration for people of all backgrounds, and if he had an ounce of compassion for the illegal immigrants here and wanting to get here, it would be different.

But he is racist, misanthropic, and cruel. He lacks the humanity to appreciate his luck and to want to help others.

As someone who is DAR-eligible along multiple threads, I regret that my ancestors allowed Stephen's grandparents in, despite his nice uncle.

Sure looks like you are calling him a hypocrite for not wanting to let in millions. He has to appreciate his luck and want to help others.

He's a hypocrite for not wanting to continue with the asylum program for people who have been threatened by gangs and escaping a death sentence in places like El Salvador. Instead, Trump's admin wants to provide refugee status to white South Africans because the government passed some law that *might* take their land (ie, eminent domain which we have here) that they took from native South Africans.

His family escaped people threatening their lives, too.
Making him more appreciative of legitimate asylum versus all the fake cases coming in now. Once Trump said they had to wait in Mexico, people on the way returned home. Why would they do that if they were fleeing a death sentence?

The asylum claims from Afghans who helped us during the war are completely real because the Taliban will kill them instantly if they return, Miller wants to get rid of all of them too.
Why couldn't they have gone to Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, or Kyrgyzstan?

Because the helped US? And by helping US (not Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, or Kyrgyzstan), they put their lives in danger. We kind of owe them a debt since their assistance saved the lives of US soldiers.

Why is Trump turning them over to the Taliban?

Trump doesn't care about Muslims. I think that was obvious over 20 years ago. Muslims who support Trump are 100% idiots.

A better question is why did they help US service men and women. They put their lives and their family lives in jeopardy by helping our military. Fools. They should have studied American history and realized that the USA has always spoken with a fork tongue and broken its treasure and promises.

This is their new talking point “The president has the power to do anything he wants, regardless of any laws that may exist and we pretend not to be aware of or understand.”

Unfortunately the SCOTUS opened the door to that bizarre line of thought when it gave Trump absolute immunity as POTUS

His grandparents should not have been let in. Miller should have been born in Russia and immigrants forbidden into the country at the time. Scourges.

Anyhoo, if I ever see him on the street, I’ll make sure he gets sucker punched again. I’m 5’1 and 108 lbs, so I should be able to easily take him down.

I think that was Richard Spencer.

Steven Miller is what happens when you shake a little bit of Himmler and a little bit of Goebbles up in a jar and leave it sitting out like a sour dough starter. He’s a nasty little piece of dangerous work.

I have watched with dismay and increasing horror as my nephew, an educated man who is well aware of his heritage, has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country.""

Did you hear his nonsense about "owning children" and the education department rant. IF not check it out it was at the press briefing he did. Scary stuff America-wake up.
