For kids who prefer an urban campus, it’s a solid option. In terms of academics, it is what you make of it. Plenty of excellent opportunities for motivated students.

harvard is harvard, mit is mit, tufts at least has premed, vet, etc., northeastern has cs, engineering and its business school, bc has its business school.
what is bu known for? a place full pay low achievement international students get to hang out in boston
There is campus.
Many high-caliber students.
Prestige & price are subjective.
They are traditionally best known for their Communications & Journalism, but their majors are well-balanced overall.
These days, they are especially well known for Biomedical Engineering (BME), and they are a major private research university.
Just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
