Anonymous wrote:Lol... Williams was NEVER on the level of a truly elite university, and the value/general lay prestige of LACs has only decreased over time.
And if we're comparing it with its peer group, Amherst seems to be more well-known.

The post might, however, be useful as a public service announcement. A lot of very excellent students can a now avoid Williams like the plague if you are representative of the students/alumni.
Curiously nasty response.

Nothin curious about it. Sometimes you stand up to a bully, or “meet someone where they are”…. Choose your cliche. Does it matter which one?
The OP took a shit swipe at Pomona. Playtime palace? Please. Defend it all you like.

One of these things is not like the other.
Very few in in NYC has even heard of Bucknell. The first time I heard about this college was on this site!
The co-heads of the hedge fund where I work, went to Williams and Cornell, respectively. Guess where we recruited most of our incoming analysts and traders from?
Robert G. scott, the former President and COO of Morgan Stanley is a graduate of Williams. I can list 100 more successful finance people, but that’s something you could
google yourself.

Amherst? How random. It has the least opportunities of any of the top lacs.
It doesn’t have any top departments and has the worst campus of the top 4. Only does well for grad admissions in law school. There’s really not much redeeming Amherst.

Yes, I was too buys going to Princeton. Now, can you bug off if you aren't going to make any substantive commentary?
If that’s supposed to impress us with what you write, it doesn’t. And don’t even talk about substance when you clearly don’t have!
Yes, because Princetonians have never made a typo. You haven't made an argument, so glad to be done with this foolishness.
Do you even listen to yourself? Never mind. You clearly have issues and need help. It also begs the question why someone who supposedly went to a good college would have such scorn for another good college.
You sound mental.
