This is obnoxious. The PJs are a separate issue but is it that hard to imagine that a family where someone with a retail job can only afford one car? And so OP does a dropoff so that she can then use the car for other stuff during the day like kid dropoffs or driving to her own job?

Ppl saying he should use public transport have no idea how available or reliable that is. He would probably have to wake up and leave the house even much earlier.

What if you get into an accident? I saw an accident once in the wintertime and the kids were wearing shorts and flip-flops waiting outside for the tow truck and police. It happens.

Op here. Thanks for all the replies. There’s no discussed reason behind him driving other than he gets to the car first, buckles up and drives himself.

At home, I have a 16 yo who isn’t responsible for getting the younger siblings ready but is getting ready for school as well.

I have a feeling the kids aren’t really old enough to be home alone and the only reason she feels comfortable doing so is because they’re reliably asleep at that time.

Then she shouldn't be leaving them alone, period. Let the husband take a bus or carpool.

No these are awful. Can’t you just buy a lounge set from old navy or Amazon? That’s what I wear for overnight flights and early drop offs.
