If by we, you mean a half dozen anonymous people procrastinating from what they're supposed to be doing , than sure

Totally agree.

If you get off your phones and look around your neighborhood, people are just trying to live their life.

They aren't trying they are succeeding at living their lives. Outside of this forum people are going about their business.

I can’t imagine. We (dems) don’t even have guns.

You may want to rethink that claim. Plenty of Democrats have guns. You are living in a bubble if you think Democrats don’t have guns

They would be necessary during a revolution.

Speak for yourself. This Dem stays strapped. Same with many of my Liberal friends.

Also, since Trump took office, there's been a surge in Dems obtaining guns and attending classes. The gun club I belong to has had a surge in membership since November 2024. That surge has continued into 2025 as well. Our gun safety courses have also been at capacity each time they've been scheduled. Friends at other local shooting/gun clubs have reported the same uptick in membership and interest as well.

I can be a fan of the 2A and still want sensible gun control. I've shot different AR-style weapons and normal citizens don't need them. There's zero practical use outside of combat.

Which leaders on the left will be courting militias to bring the fight to MAGA? AOC? Bernie? Schiff? Kelly? How will Everytown feel about this?

Okay we get that you are really, really looking forward to this French revolution. I think your best bet is to go buy some video game or something and play it. See if that scratches the itch.

Yean, no. I'm just pointing out how stupid this discussion is. Democrats want to eradicate guns not take up arms.

Yes, gun control is a huge political issue. Other than a few gun nutters and the gun manufacturing industry, I don't think anyone wants to have a violent conflict over it. We will settle this at the ballot box as we should.

Agreed, which makes the topic clickbait trash. There will be no shooting in the streets other than the gangs and drug dealers already at it.

This would not be a war fought in the streets with Glocks and shotguns. It will be a cataclysmic split with politicians vying for the support of military units. And some will split off from the MAGA cabal and some won't. And then it will be fought over months and years and the US will become a third-world nation, looking up with aspiration to the greatness of countries like Zimbabwe and their stable currency. Or the integrity of the DRC government.

Holy drama queen. You need to try to relax a little bit.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me who the sides in the revolution will be. I don't think Republicans are going to start it. That leaves the Democrats. I am fairly certain all of those far right militia types with their ink and caveman beards will suit up to protect their dear leader. That doesn't end well for Democrat LARPers. There are a lot of ex-military right wing nutjobs.
