Those of us with health issues NEED to wear masks. As a parent, you give your kid a curfew and monitor them. Not ok to use aggressive tactics.
There’s probably some middle grounds. Like if someone is wearing a mask, security can stop them and ask them why and maybe take their photo or check their ID. Allows all those with medical conditions to wear them but discourages criminals from using masks to commit crimes. Getting your photo taken doesn’t seem like such a big deal — I mean, disney takes your friggin’ fingerprint before they let you in.

Guns don't help but I think it's actually unchecked capitalism. It destroys societal fabric, divides people, and makes them desperate.

I truly find it difficult to believe that any doctor advocates wearing a mask outdoors in 2025. It wasn't even the advice in 2021. Probably the advice is more like, "It's not necessary but you can wear one if you want to be very cautious." Honestly, if I see someone wearing one and they're not involved in a protest, my guess is that they are a criminal. And if there's a group of teens wearing them, I cross the street.
I have to wear one for severe season allergies. I know people with autoimmune illnesses who need masks to avoid getting sick. Most are not wearing masks because of Covid even though it’s still present.

I remember in 2021, before you could find masks to wear, I wore a red bandanna into the beer wine store and the guy behind the counter about freaked out, until he recognized it was me.
