For a lot of people with mental illness living in the community who have services, this kind of thing would trigger their caseworker to consider a petition for court ordered hospitalization. At least, that's what's happened to my bipolar friend many times over the years when she starts texting rants that have opposite politics but pretty much the same disordered thinking.
It’s so bizarre, isn’t it, that he’s the only political leader in the US—or in the world—who can get away with being so obviously mentally ill for so many years. I still don’t get how it gets away with it.
The question is why enough Americans are able to either tolerate it, look the other way, or are too stupid to see it for what it is.
There is a dumb American stereotype - loud, brash, oblivious to their surroundings, no subtlety, all “me, me me”.
This is what I don't understand. How can anybody think this guy should be our leader? How can anybody expect this monster to protect them, look after them?
