Need less quantity and more quality when it comes to travel clubs. It’s easy to put up a club and build a website, but to hire quality coaches is the problem. No one ever seems to think of that and the kids are left with mom/dad coaches that never played or recent graduates that aren’t exactly reliable.

Help me understand how is it anymore intriguing than M&D DC or YJ's DMV? Unless fully formed teams move over they will not be competitive for years, if at all. Look at NL/M&D DC, they been around a long time and only have one strong team out of a dozen. Even that team will dissolve after this year.
Not the original poster, but I am intrigued. Y&J DMV is two teams organized by a mom, there is no LI YJ person here. NL/M&D DC has never have had any good teams, it is just more of the same, it is brand only.


YJMA has many good teams - more than M&DDC. The 2031 and 2030s are both playing in the NGLL A Division. The club director is from Long Island and played for LI YJ.

run by Bev Altig, but is backed by True Lacrosse. TL seems to have outlets for development, that the other clubs do not. DD is doing the Ricky Fried clinic May 17.
