Trump is sending thousands of them an El Salvador death camp.

Why are none of these "terrorists" and "hardened criminals" shooting back at ICE?

Did I misunderstand the theat we faced?

“Tren de Agua” maybe has a 100 members in the US. ”MS-13” has about 10,000 members in the US. MS-13 was started in the 1980 to protect El Salvador immigrants from other gangs. The vast majority of its members are now US citizens because they were born here. 10,000 is about 1% of all the gangs in the US. Though the Federal agencies do not have good gang data. The Republicans have defunded most of the strategies and operations to monitor these kinds of things. Interesting thing with MA-13 is when the US deported gang members in 1990’s MS-13 spread and took over El Salvador.

None of the 238 people kidnapped and sent to El Salvador have been charged or appeared in US courts. There is no proof that any of these people did anything, are gang members or committed any crime. Nothing has been presented in US courts. So we do not know if they are even illegals.

Thank you for coming with facts. I asked Grok about this and this was the conclusion:

"No definitive, up-to-date count exists for either gang. Tren de Aragua’s presence appears smaller and less organized than MS-13’s, likely numbering in the low hundreds at most, while MS-13 might still hover around thousands but lacks a recent benchmark. Both are active but overstated as existential threats. Data from DHS, ICE, or FBI remains the closest to credible, but even these sources hedge with estimates or focus on arrests rather than totals. Always dig past headlines—gang stats are notoriously slippery."

Bottom line: the Trump administration is going to continue deporting Hispanics that it claims are members of either of these gangs WITH NO EVIDENCE or due process. As soon as anyone protests, they will respond, "Why do you want to keep dangerous criminals in this country?" and they will add colorful details like "who raped a child or an old woman" etc. to inflame MAGA and retain their support. It's a very slipper slope for all of our civil rights. And, to top it all, there is absolutely no indication so far that they have removed "the worst of the worst" in any large numbers.

DP. "Facts"?? The PP included zero citations in her post. But since you agree with her opinion, you call that "facts." And then you ask a Chatbot, and list those results as "facts"? Unreal.

You’d rather they make a few mistakes than “have to live like this”?

How brave of you to offer up the lives of innocents to reduce that annoying graffiti eyesore and possibly increase your property value!

What a sick f^ck. You and your Van Nuys sob story are the twin flame of the slob loser in Israel who cannot afford to live in Tel Aviv, but resorts to settling in the West Bank where he can terrorize Palestinians in communities their ancestors have lived in for several millenia. Skyscraper yourself already.

Are you comparing ms13 to Palestinians? Wow okay. Pretty sure I’m not the going going around terrorizing innocent people from ms13 - Its not safe anymore to walk in my area so I’d have to do it by car.

Anyway, I was just offering a different perspective from someone who actually lives in a sanctuary city where people are safe from deportation, and in an area claimed by ms13.

Ps. There aren’t any sky scrapers in Van Nuys, but thank you for the suggestion!

Oh look the maga troll is back. Do not believe a word these people say. They would never walk down a street because they might see a POC.

Is it really so wrong to murder, if you come from a poor country?

Where is everyone’s compassion?

Are you saying we aren’t going after these dangerous gangs

Or we are going after the gangs because law enforcement thinks they are innocent?

Law enforcement is pack of wishes who are afraid of criminals, so they find non-criminal to fill quota.

You don’t think gang members commit crimes? Fascinating POV.

If they were picking up actual gang members there would be actual resistance with guns and we would be hearing about it.

Yep They are indeed cowards going after non-violent, easy pickings. I mean they went to an elementary school to abduct children to fill their quota.

The latest guy from Dale City that Blondi is claiming is a top MS 13 leader is 24 and wandering in someone’s garage. If MS 13 is such a notorious criminal enterprise, why are poor kids running it? Other leaders that have been arrested are 50+ years old.

It’s called deterrence, and it’s working.

Sending people to the prison is not a morally or legally acceptable way to handle non citizens who are in the US.

Yes it is. Illegal invaders do not have the same rights as citizens. With jail on the table instead of a warm welcome from the Biden administration, fewer will come. Our government officials get paid to help citizens, not illegals. Dems don’t agree, which is why they are out of power

dp.. no, it isn't moral to send an illegal border crosser to an El Salvadorian prison. Geezuz. The punishment doesn't fit the crime.

I’m referring to the Salvadoran prison, but thanks for your inaccurate ideas on rights. I know many of you are just too stupid to understand the definition of the words “person” and “persons,” but that doesn’t mean much to the rest of us, or the courts.

Sometimes I read the police report for local arrests and it'll say something like teen was a member of MS13. These kids aren't in the gang or part of any organized crime, just a localized group of LARPers stealing cred. I imagine it's similar in many other places in the US, a convenient boogeyman.

My neighborhood is full of people from El Salvador and they are some of the most incredible people that I have ever known. What on earth are you talking about? You obviously have zero personal experience living in such a neighborhood.

Are they part of ms13? Like in my neighborhood? I’m sure you’d feel differently if they were.

$350 for a condo in LA? Did you buy it in the 1800s?

$350k and I’m sure you knew that

Smashing car windows of non violent immigrants who have no criminal record is a lot safer than hunting down actual criminals.

You saw what happened in Texas when loud talking law.enforcement was face to face with an actual armed threat. They ended up preventing the parents who were willing to run in there and take down the shooter and sacrifice themselves for their children.

There are some really good cops and law enforcement out there, but the ones who talk the loudest and make the most noise are usually cowards who aren't going to engage with actual dangerous criminals.

Oh, they already admitted it. I read last month or earlier that it takes a lot of ICE agents to detain a lot of criminals. So, they are going after low-hanging fruit yo beef up numbers, like protesters, college-students, and women.

All while the actual criminals roam free. Someone on this, or the other thread, said Abregio’s hearing was in 2019, which begs why the felon didn’t deport him then? You also heard on the thread that some lady is happy to have innocent people rounded up because someone is tagging her building.

MAGA suck!
