We’re currently at Green Acres, and I think they have some spaces- it’s a very inclusive and supportive school.

Don't assume that 'top' schools in the area are fully enrolled and everything is stable. Someone mentioned in a previous post that given the general state of unease around, well, around the world, things are much more fluid and changing. Reach out to all the schools you might be interested in.

Christ Episcopal School has been fantastic for my rising 5th grader. They are still accepting applications.

Springwell? They're probably closing next! Nora School? Field School, Burke, McLean, Lowell, Sheridan, I feel like those are all pretty inclusive communities

Green Acres is a wonderful K-8 school. They might still be open to accepting students for lower or upper school .

Agree. Families with children in K-8 should reach out to the Sheridans, Lowells, Norwoods, St. Pats, Green Acres, etc.

There are two Friends schools discussed here.

Has some spaces open for middle school. Is not perfect, but tries to accommodate gender non conforming kids (uses preferred pronouns, has non gendered bathrooms).

I currently have a student there, facility is not run down, teachers are very good, new incoming head of school shows promise. Has some administrative communication issues but every place has some sort of challenge. It’s worth a look.
