NP. As someone who lives in California, at this point I believe those services have done far more harm than good.

San Francisco has finally wrested control from the progressives. Moderates are now in charge there. And they are taking on the homeless industrial complex. That means that the city is getting safer, finally. Crime is down.

I don’t think these services helped people in California overall. I think they harm people.

More than one thing can be true at once. Of course he is mentally ill. AND he set fire to a governor's mansion, not some random house. Which makes it a political act. The fact that his political views aren't rational or based in reality does not make them less political. This country elected Trump after all. That means and entire segment of the population is mentally ill if you ask me.

Listening to Morning Joe and they're casting this incident as anti-semitic. Gov. Shapiro himself made some comments about nothing and nobody stopping his family from celebrating Passover. I seriously doubt this mentally ill individual even knew it was Passover. On X randos are ascribing all sorts of motives to this guy.

Anyone who breaks into a governor's mansion that is being guarded by state troopers and sets it on fire with people inside is not right in the head. Period.
