The Arlington Dems only uploads voters to Election Buddy twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday). If you registered and didn’t get a ballot today, you should get it at 7pm on Tuesday.

Yes I got mine, but it was addressed to the wrong person. Very weird. The link worked though.

Well, no one has to go out of their way, because it took 30 seconds to register to vote online and actually voting should take the same amount of time.

That said, I plan to vote for Moe, but really only because it's tacky that June endorsed herself. But I feel pretty low information on this one. Maybe I'll text a few friends who follow this stuff more closely.

The only one who brought up APE recently is you. But I do agree that both candidates are not exciting. I am not going to go out of my way to vote because nothing will change whoever ends up in the chair.

Can we have one school board thread without anyone bringing up APE unrelatedly? ughhh. For what it's worth, I find both candidates lacking and not sure which least bad choice I'm voting for.

I pay AEA dues, and have done so for a long time. I’m not impressed with June. The previous president had plenty of issues, but we could call AEA’s office and get a call back from her. Not with June-everything is routed to the Uniserv Director.

If this is what I get from her as my AEA president, why should I advocate for her to be on the school board?

I think too much is going on with Arlington residents right now to focus on the races. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s even lower turnout than usual.

My kids are no longer in APS but I usually vote in the caucus because I care. I got a text from Moe telling me online voting starts Saturday, which I was not even aware of. The link she sent was to her own site, but I prefer to go to an official site. Does anyone have the voting details? How long is voting open? Why is no one really talking about this, or is that just my perception now that AEM is no longer around?

I’m probably voting for Moe if I show up to the Caucus at all. I agree that June’s AEA endorsement is shady. But can we also agree that endorsements are dumb? I really don’t care what the cool kids think about you. I can make up my own mind.

I think APS needs to do better by its educators, but I have been unimpressed by June’s leadership of AEA. Plus, it is a clear conflict of interest to run for SB while a union president.

June is bitter. She used the AEA FB page to make a list of elected officials that endorsed her opponent. Calling them "non pro ecucation" and that she would update the post as needed. Yes, in her rage posting she misspelled education.

This will harm all APS staff. It's not a great look for the union to be bashing County Board and School Board members.



I went to June’s campaign website and I’m mistaken, she has a few endorsements besides her own. Nova Labor, no surprise and Chen Ling. Okayyyyyy. But Moe is cleaning up with the rest. I didn’t see her trashing Moe, but I didn’t read comments.


where do you see this? I just see Nova labor which is really just her and Patrick Hope on her website.
