My 2 year old gets bathed 3 times a week. Usually Sun, Wed, Friday. He has eczema and anymore than that would be rough on his skin.

My kids come home trashed from daycare. Yes, we bathe them every night.

In the thousands of years of human history its only been the last 50-60 that nearly universally in advanced economies a daily bath was even feasible. I think a kid can make it without being classified as “abused” if they get a bath infrequently.

We do most days in winter, but we’re now into everyday territory because of sunscreen, bug spray and sweat.

Every day. Either a bath or a shower. Mostly showers.

I may be in the minority here but I think getting children in the habit of taking a daily (or nightly) bath 🧼 is a good idea.

My own children are all adults, but when they were little they bathed every day.
I saw the dividends when I would hear my friends complain how it was like pulling teeth to get their kid to bathe or shower, etc.

For my kids, it was as natural as brushing their teeth.
Never did I have a bath time battle plus the good thing was in all of my years raising them did I ever have to remind them to shower…..I never even had to ask them to.

It worked for me, plus my kids were always clean and as teens had good skin too.

5 year old girl. Cold months: shower (or sometimes bath) every other day or as needed. Warm months: every day. Until recently I’ve been washing her hair only once a week because every little pull during hair brushing was a drama. She’s ready and probably needs a hair wash more often. (I wash mine once every 6 days or so.)

You're right that is disgusting. FYI. other people smell them before you.

I think your ignorance on the subject is probably more disgusting.
