I didn't vote for him, but I also never seriously considered voting for Harris or Biden. I thought Trump's first term was at moments scary but overall pretty good.

With the wind-up, let me say: geez Louise this is going shittily.

You are missing the big picture. It’s bad for Wall Street. But this is going great if you are from Main Street.
No pain, no gain. Finally a president who is fighting for main street.
Manufacturing jobs will have to come back to the US. If these corporations don’t do it, they will keep watching their stock prices sinking.

Manufacturing jobs? In what factories? With what materials? Who are the trained workers?

There is literally no infrastructure to bring manufacturing back any time in the near future. It’s going to be very painful and odds are people will be replaced with tech anyway. If you think these jobs are coming back to America in any meaningful way then you’re an absolute idiot.

This man’s a moron. The jobs aren’t coming back and if they do no one is going to pay you $50 bucks an hour to put a t-shirt in a box. They will pay you $5 an hour. And you will take it because maybe you’ll be able to feed your family for a month on that $20 bag of rice.

So, so stupid. Just think something thru.

+1 I don’t think targeted well planned tariffs are all that bad. But blanket tariffs on the entire planet simultaneously with minimal warning for companies to prepare is just dumb.

Stupids can't see this is an effort to undermine the U.S.

Hmm... who could want that?

But what if they don’t come back to the US? If there is a major recession some of these companies are going to fail or shrink. Remember GM during the 2008 recession?

Tell your liberal friends to stop burning Teslas and making the stock go down. Then your IRA will be fine.

Even if that stuff had never happened Tesla would still be failing. I’m sorry Fox News lies to you about reality.

That you thought his clown car show of a first term was anything but a disaster tells us all we need.

Anyone who thought about it knew the score. It’s infuriating I’m the kind of person who can traditionally do well under any admin, but this is next level awful crazy. This man trashed the economy for everyone just because he felt it was a good idea.

He campaigned on trashing the economy. And people voted for it.
