YEARS ago, a group of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals published a whole fricken book about their concerns regarding Trump’s lack of mental fitness. Since then, he’s seemed to be taking a precipitous slide into dementia— and his staff is reveling in the absence of structure. That’s on top of Trump’s lifelong personality issues, racism, and general viciousness. His cousin, a psychologist, also published a whole fricken book about the Trump family dynamics and her concerns about Donald Trump’s fitness.
So, OP, I’m genuinely curious. Why are you raising these issues NOW? Did something different happen? Are people just connecting the dots for some reason? A concerned family would have taken his keys away a long time ago, and encouraged his golf game. Instead, millions of people— who somehow don’t see his very clear deficiencies — elected him as President AGAIN.

This. I grew up with a Cluster B in my family, so I have a lot of practice dealing with it. When Trump shocked people in the early days, I was like, "Oh, my childhood."
One of my therapist friends says he is a psychopath.

These descriptions often sprinkled in posts. I see them all of the time.
Posters use it to strengthen their responses. These words are usually in a response that disagrees with a statement. I find them interesting.

And he was taught to run business like the mob. Bribe, extort, grease the palms. Launder money. Avoid any responsibility. That’s what he’s done to our country too. “Saving” money by reducing public services, profiting of privatization, and lining his pockets with protection racket money.
Not only does MAGA not recognize a personality disorder when it’s rubbed in their face, they’ve obviously skipped the entire Mafia genre of films.
The same skills are necessary to survive in the mafia as they are in politics. Do you honestly think that "persuading" various politicos is done through words alone?

The man wears orange makeup, a wig, and has limited intelligence and vocabulary. He’s also a convicted felon. How did America vote for this? We are getting exactly what we deserve for our ignorance, apathy, and prejudice.

MAGA believes he is playing three dimensional chess and has some magical power to make them all rich. But is it just possible that his bizarre policies and behavior are just a sign of continuing mental deterioration unfettered by any constraints like congress or the judiciary?
No.
He’s very cognizant of what he’s doing.
He may not believe he’s going to screw things ip but that doesn’t make one mentally ill.
You can know what you are doing and also be mentally ill. He’s quite mentally ill.
OK. Your theory brings you comfort. OK

DC has rough people — and then we have very well-to-do people, with summer homes (a couple) and cabins that were “won” in card games at the turn of the last century. We learn from each-other. The rough folks actually get respect bc we know how to call BS, we work hard and we can run elections
Get us back in the game
lol stay on the sidelines where you belong, poser.

a recession?
i don't know - what do you mean what does it "get" us? it gets us screwed, and probably, electorally, will help with the midterms and 2028 but who knows
