Funny thread though. This argument has been going for years about ECNL vs GA. I’ve been around long enough to laugh at it now because it doesn’t matter. If your kid is driven to succeed for the right reasons, badge doesn’t matter. Now if you want to talk about the level of competition, ECNL is better hands down. GA did have better additions this year and is starting to gain steam with the new partnership but it will still take a few years to level the competitive playing field.
Don’t get me wrong, I think top GA teams don’t get enough credit but we haven’t had top GA team since FCV 06s, 07s and 08s. You could probably throw Armour 10s in the conversation but they haven’t been consistent.
Tough to say where talent lands moving forward or if one of the clubs can weed through all of the diluted playing pool to get that top team.

I think the point they were making is most players on girls teams pay full price. Many/most on boys are "on scholarships." The numbers are the issue. The girls are paying for many of the boys.

Undersized? Have you seen Pedri or Gavi play? Supersized idea is only in the US (by the way Pulisic is the best in US). The day the system figures out the undersized technical players, they will win the World Cup. Same applies to women’s soccer
What are you on about? The USWNT has a good mix of bigger, more powerful women and smaller women. I think the women's game at the highest level here does it correctly. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit your narrative of only teams with small players is the best way forward. I'm sorry your child is genetically challenged.

Will be interesting to see what happens to this team over the next 2 years. Will they stay together or will girls move to an available ECNL team?
