It is a sick euphemism for the sex trafficing of minors.

I think she had to be very patient being married to Bill. He is brilliant but seems very detached and probably was not the most involved husband or father.
+1 Me too. Her kids all seem pretty functional--the eldest is a doctor. Melinda could have been a Lauren Sanchez and just hang around celebrities on a yacht all day. But she's gone to the poorest countries in the world and tried to help bring medicine and clean water. And I think her new org is focused specifically on helping poor women.
Wow, some of the posts here are totally bonkers. Melinda has been speaking out on behalf of the most vulnerable populations in the world for decades and she has sat for many, many interviews, so before you judge her, I recommend that you go on YouTube and listen to her first. She cares about providing free birth control to women in extremely impoverished areas and actually spends the money to make it happen. She is an amazing speaker and non-profit leader.
So much jealousy on dcum.

Because few want to pay for it. Including the current Republican administration.

Again, I don’tbuy that. If he was an active user of Epstein ‘s services, he would be compromised and thus he would be part the billionaire club currently supporting the President.Anonymous wrote:She clearly divorced him over the Jeffrey Epstein stuff - she knows more than what she is saying.

Also not to be pedantic but she didn’t receive anything - it was hers.
Bingo! You sound mean and jealous, OP.
+1 I glanced at the article she sent and she just said the divorce was a traumatic time. They were married for decades. I'm sure it was a miserable period, and that trying to divorce a billionaire must have been stressful.
I also get OP's point that who cares, she has billions and her life is sunshine and roses compared to nearly everyone else in the world. But Melinda Gates has tried to help poor women all over the world. I think she can both be highly privileged and have had a difficult time with her divorce without being labeled "whiny."

She brags about her "good deeds.". I was brought up that one does their good deeds in silence. Her self aggrandizement is over the top.

I could maybe understand why you might listen to a free podcast interview, but even that might get boring.
