The approved budget really doesn't call for that significant cuts, does it? Musk is good at generating press but many of the things he has done get quietly walked back (e.g., accidentally firing the nuclear people) or get reversed by the courts (the probationary employees). But the dumb general public thinks 'wow, so much waste!' and that's the end of it.

I usually love to play the market and scoop up deals but as a fed and a democrat I sold my individual Tesla stock.
