It's incredibly cheap and so worth the very small time commitment. Gray is really aging. And yes, with gray hair you do have to touch up more. Not a big deal if doing it at home.
Because it looks bad to have dark all-over color when you’re obviously older than 30.
Gray looks worse. And people seriously go gray at 30? Didn't notice my first gray until late 40s.
Right? THis doesn't make sense. I didn't have any grey hairs til I was 35ish. So you're saying I should have started coloring my naturally dark hair at 30 just..because?
Can you people hear yourselves? Just because *you* didn't have grey hair until you were 35 doesn't mean it doesn't happen. My mom started going grey at 19 and was fully silver by 35.

NP - I'm 51 and that's what I do, too. I get it done every eight weeks or so. It's worked very well for my hair. I'm 51 - a little gray, but not a ton. I don't mind when a few strands start showing through - it keeps my hair from looking too flat and unnatural. It has helped with taming some frizz/flyaway nonsense.
I don't know if I'll do a full dye eventually. Probably?
What do you use for a demi rinse? How long does it last?

I just went back to work and noticed many of the late 50 people in my office seem to just be going grey naturally. I have not really decided what I will do yet. None of them look 80...they look 55!
50-60 is peak firing time, PP. Maybe to you these women look great. I have known a few women who looked absolutely stunning in grey-white hair! But to the higher-ups who are calculating how much they'll save by replacing an expensive oldie with an affordable youngster, going grey means drawing attention to yourself... in the worst way.
