My elementary aged kids would have *loved* a trip to Greenland to watch a dogsled race. Some of the posters here are really reaching for something to be outraged about.

The Obama girls were the President’s daughters. Did the Biden granddaughters fly all over the place when he was President or Vice President? The Vance children are not part of the First Family.

We have a military base there. Yes, it is small, but the location is strategic. This isn't a "just because" reason to go there.

In an administration jettisoning jobs for "efficiency" how can you say that any wasteful spending is "unimportant"?

This is a frivolous indulgence, at best, and more likely a weak media stunt to try to soften the impact of the trip being a political push in the first place.
