MAGAs would never vote for 2) the moral, good candidate who happened to be a woman of color. I know plenty of black and Hispanic men voted for Trump. At least the Amish men told the truth when asked by reporters. “We don’t want a woman at the top position in government”. I will never buy Amish furniture again, but at least they were honest.
Some people were so sexist and racist they were willing to vote for the EVIL Orange Cheeto even if the Orange Cheeto does horrific, immoral, and illegal things….because they felt the bad stuff would only happen to the “others” they felt superior to.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Musicians in professional orchestras go through auditions, with legal audition rules decided through the musicians union, to win the job. The first round is where everyone takes a turn playing a set group of excerpts. It’s is behind a curtain and everyone plays the same excerpts. The committee usually picks 2-5 musicians they liked in round one to go on to round 2.
The world’s major orchestras and operas are still dominated by white males. Quite frankly, it wasn’t so long ago some symphonies wouldn’t admit women, even when they won the job. Musicians from poor families had almost no chance as its expensive taking private lessons for 15+ years and buying professional instruments.
Cis white men aren’t persecuted like they think. There seems to be a current generation of white men that think if they don’t get the rotten privileges abusing people like their fathers and grandfathers had …..ie getting all the choice jobs/ vast majority of college admissions / control of all the family money, even their wives inheritances/ never doing domestic chores/ having good-ol-boy cops look the other way when they linch black peoples / the legal right to “discipline” their wives (ie…get away with domestic violence and rape) -somehow they are being persecuted.
Cis white men can adapt and evolve instead of bleeting all over the internet.

You're just making things up. There are LOTS of new white male conductors in the US and Europe - Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Gustavo Dudamel, Teodor Currentzis, Klaus Mäkelä and so on. Are you the same poster who also incorrectly claimed that no white male authors were being nominated or receiving awards for fiction or poetry too?
Where are you getting your incorrect information? I suggest you start doing more research and more verifying and start rejecting the false sources that have so obviously been misleading you.

Shrug. That’s not really meaningful. No new white male conductors since when? And we’re there ANY conductors during that time period? Not a lot of turnover with major orchestras, so it’s good that you didn’t bother to quote percentages which might have been misleading.
As for spots, same questions. How many spots were there during the time period that you haven’t (yet) delineated? How were they chosen? I thought it was common to do blind auditions now. If so, I hope you’re applauding the consequences of “merit”.

A lot of orchestras have switched to blind auditions, so I’m not sure what point you are tying to prove exactly. That without affirmative action, white men aren’t getting the spots they used to get and presumptions of superiority they used to get simply by virtue of being white? Not quite the “problem” you are making it out to be.
