The AP obtained a database of 26,000 images featuring women and PoC that were flagged for removal by the DoD. The fact that some high profile pages have had to be reinstated shows that they know erasing history is wrong and their execution of this policy is too heavy handed.

I think at one point they even removed information on the 442nd Regiment, which is absolutely INSANE. They're the most decorated and most honored regiment in this history of the military that was tough as nails. Removed simply because they were Asian. I think there is a story of one soldier in the 442nd who had his arm blown by the Germans, and that didn't even stop him. He used his other arm to pick up the grenade that was still in the hand of his blown up arm and tossed it into a German bunker to keep advancing.

The way you guys lie and obfuscate may work on FOX but not here. We know that thousands of other pages were removed and that Trump has so scared the federal workforce that employees don’t feel they can even discuss their heritage or identity. And this was intentional. The only reason they put some pages back up is the backlash that embarrassed them.
