My compound has an early 2026 expiration date. I believe the compounds have preservatives that allow them to last longer[b].

So many threads on this. So much all over the internet. Just look it up.
The short of it is: patent law. Wegovy is on patent. Compounded semaglutide was only allowed during a shortage. No shortage, no compounding. Compounding is basically pharmacies making their own generic. You can't sell generic medications until the branded medication's patent expires. Unless there is a shortage, at which point exceptions can be made. But there is no longer a shortage.
I understand the gist of what’s happening. I’m asking about a rule or reg that was issued or expired or what’s happening legally and when?
The “rule or reg” is patent law.
But more specifically, the law allows for compounding when there is a shortage.
No, it’s actually not patent law, it’s FDA law.

But if they don’t - can you imagine the Oscars next year? They are going to look like a reunion special for The Whale.
There is no way around the restriction. Some compounders made noise for awhile about adding vitamins to make it "different" but they knew full well that wouldn't fly legally, they just thought they might gain a few months of sales making that argument. They've all dropped it.
Not sure why on earth you think Hollywood stars would suddenly gain weight; I'm sure they have access to branded medication.
All those actresses who went from 120 lb to 100 lbs over the last few years are taking legitimate medication prescribed for diabetes from a legit doctor? All the dudes who went from 175 to 155? Seems unlikely.

It seems microdosing is the new Hollywood trend. Can you please share how to microdose tirz? Frequency and quantity?

This is a nice little article. Thank you! I really relate to what it talks about: that weight loss is not the only benefit of this drug. My skin, at 47 years old, looks glowing and poreless since I've been on this drug. I've attributed that to the fact that I'm eating so much better, with so much less junk food (sugar specifically) and more healthier foods, and I've also been sleeping better - I also attributed that to my healthier diet. But maybe there's something to be said for less inflammation that's giving my skin that glow.
I've been taking tirzepatide for 12 weeks now and have lost 15 pounds. I started at 22.8 BMI and am now at 20.4. I feel so much better, my clothes fit again, and I am happy looking in the mirror. I started at the introductory dose, 2.5, and have stayed on that. This article specifically says "Rather than injecting the regular introductory weekly dose, people are only taking half that amount or less." I didn't know about microdosing when I started, or I probably would have tried it. From here I'd like to still drop 3-5 more lbs and then taper down my dose - to what I'm not sure exactly. Probably drop .5 per week and stay at 1 if I'm still feeling the effects (i.e., feeling full after a reasonably sized meal instead of needing to stuff my face with abandon before I get that satisfied feeling). Honestly, my life is so much better, my habits are so much healthier (no more binge eating, exercising with energy and pleasure, sleeping better) that I may take this med forevermore.
