I would assume most women test on their own.

My home urine tests were always accurate 5 days after a 5/6 day blast transfer (in both positive and negative cycles).

I always tested early. I didn't want to learn via. phone call.

In the last two months I had two frozen embryo transfers done. The first one failed and the urine pregnancy tests indicated I wasn't pregnant accurately. The second one was successful and urine pregnancy tests indicated I was pregnant before the blood test confirmed the pregnancy. I started testing at day 9 post FET for both transfers and for the 2nd, successful transfer, the home pregnancy test was positive at day 9. For the first transfer, I'm glad I used the urine pregnancy test, so that when my nurse delivered the bad news over the phone I was prepared.

I ALWAYS test about 2-3 days before a beta. I just cannot wait that long and want to be prepared for bad news. I would always go into my blood draw saying "don't feel bad when you call me to later to tell me it's negative - I already know." That is, until I finally got a positive!

Definitely there is hope. I tested negative around then with a 3 day transfer and then stopped testing and had a positive beta a couple days later.

OP, this process is so emotional and stressful, don't create extra stress where there needs to be none. Want to test? Test. Test 5 times a day. On different brand tests. Do it!
The only thing is if you triggered with HCG you need to test it out, otherwise you might get a false positive.
