And I’ve heard it only gets worse as Kevin Costner leaves, right?
I’m paying for it by season bc it moved off Netflix in the US.
Do I bother?
YES! The end is very satisfying.

I am definitely in the minority, but I loved the show. I loved Beth and Rip and Kayce. I am also a staunch progressive. I guess I'm just weird!

She was transparently a subversive far left wacko with loyalties to her ethnicity. And just an insufferable character. But we quit watching the show because the writing got so dumb and lazy.

Lastly, it’s weird that no one ever acknowledged Lee after the second episode. Or seemed sad.
Yes! He was absolutely forgotten. But their mother wasn’t. They have flashbacks with her, etc.
In the first season when beth is crying in the car to jamie she tells him that she looked her mother in the eyes when she was dying and she knew that her mother had no love for her at all. So why does Beth put this dead mother on a pedestal for the next 25 years. Remember when she threatened Governor Lynell when she spent the night with "daddy"? it was so stupid.

For the last couple seasons, I watched it for the cowboy stuff, the cinematography, and the scenery. The story went from blah to actively detracting from the experience.

We did finish it, but it fell into the trap of using more and more fantastical and unrealistic storylines. Think Nip / Tuck, if you remember that show - just over the top absurd. There are so many great shows out there, I kinda regret sticking with Yellowstone. And I'll be wary of other Taylor Sheridan shows in the future as they hit Seasons 3-4. (Although I loved the first 2 seasons if Lioness.)
