I think a lot of it depends on how much Democrats gloat about being right. I've been able to have some pretty good conversations with some of my Republican relatives because I'm open to hearing what they have to say and have not ostracized them when they have said they regret their vote. I do have a couple of co-workers that go hard on anyone even tiptoeing into the waters of regretting their vote that they back right back out again and double down

They will have to impeach Trump or Trump will need to stop the stupidity. He’s tanking the economy through tariffs and laying the groundwork for geopolitical instability. He will lose Taiwan and destroy many American industries, no Mabel American chip production will be no where near close enough to replace Taiwan’s production. As farmers all lose their farms due to Trump tariffs foreign entities or billionaires will scoop them up for Pennie’s and have a stranglehold on the food supply.

The boomers will die off like a mass extinction event as they lose healthcare, SSN and their 401 K s tank so they won’t be around for too long.

Or their social security? Or have disabled relatives wanting to move in with them because they have nowhere else to go?

The ones who do not have enough for the stock market are unbothered, and they are going to go into a housing crash and be able to afford a home.

The ones who do have investments in the stock market do not mind losing a bit, if that means an end to leftist ideology.

This is applicable to a decent chunk of MAGA. But don’t forget all the Trump voters who wanted him in for tax cuts. Tax cuts have definitely been deferred for the moment and they for sure have suffering stock portfolios.
