Late birthday are called trapped players. They are allowed to play down. VDA brought 2 kids (one is indeed a trapped player and another one is 2011 kid that has been played up on 2010). I believe everyone even Arlington parents have said they both are very good players while Arlington 2 trapped players just aren't as good and weren't helping the team.
