You are going in the summer? Trust me you will not care what you are wearing - it will be sweaty, dirty and gross in an hour.
Do not plan to wear anything twice unless you can wash it and that goes for your kids too.
I wear loose shorts and a breathable tank top or t shirt. Sneakers are a must and not fashion sneakers. Hokas are good but you need two different sneakers for each person because they will be wet and soaked with sweat.
I'm a seasoned Disney traveler in the summer and it's dreadfully hot. Get a nylon backpack not some nice leather one you can't wash.

Oh and buy really good socks for everyone and that blister block stick. Band Aid makes one. Use it every single day on heels and between toes. One blister and you are in a whole lotta trouble.

+1, We went to Disneyland last August. It's not as hot as FL but still hot. I wore my workout clothes (tech shirt and shorts, good running shoes) because we did 8 miles the first day and then 9.3 and 9.8 the next two.

People are being unusually nasty. Wear what you would wear if you’re planning to spend all day outdoors in late July in DC. There is a good chance the humidity will be high and you may get wet, whether from rain or a ride (although ponchos can help with that). Normally I’m an a cotton tee and jeans girl, but that kind of outfit can get very uncomfortable on a humid day. Flowy linen isn’t a terrible idea.

Put antiperspirant everywhere, the most comfortable shoes you own, good socks and bring a spare pair (water rides), a comfortable bra, and quick dry clothes. Wear a hat. If you get cold, bring a long sleeve shirt for the inside shows and lines.

I do wear mouse ears. I’m a Disney nerd and proud of it. Mouse ears weren’t something I wore until last year and now I look a little better in the pictures because the ears make me look a little less blah. It is cheesy but I am totally ok with it. Now I have a variety of ears to choose from depending on park and time of year.

If you are staying on site I’d recommend taking a break midday - go back to your hotel for a pool break. Then you can change if you need to. I’m not a fan of the Disney death march.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it was rainy and cool. I wore twill jeans, a long sleeve T, a lulu long raincoat with a hood, on Cloud shoes (the latter are fast drying, which was helpful). Every type of outfit was on display. Character costumes on kids and adults, matching drinks around the world T-shirts in Epcot, down jackets, shorts, etc. Wear what is comfortable for you. There are dressier restaurants so do pay attention to that.

The general population at Disney are dressed as you would expect if you went into Walmart on the hottest day in summer in West Virginia. Plus add in a million Rascal scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers

+1 to this post, because the PP switched shoes and didn't wear the same pair each day. For me, that's key. I did just fine with Vionic flip flops one day and sneakers the next.
