And if those 6 million Jews (and gays and others) were alive right now, they'd be reminding you that Nazis didn't start with death camps and that their initial rise looked JUST LIKE THIS. Who do you think they'd be more insulted by: those of us who are so horrified by the Holocaust that we are vigilant against and resistant to even a whiff of similar dynamics or by people like you who invoke them to excuse and minimize how horrific it is to see public officials repeatedly giving Nazi salutes on national television? I'd rather be an aggressive anti-Nazi clown than a disgusting sympathizer and excuser.
